The next morning, Zhao Ning's babbling came from the next room.
Yang Rong stirred in Fu Yibai's arms and groggily opened her eyes.
"I'll go take a look."
Fu Yibai pressed down on her shoulders, tucked her back into the blankets, got up, put on his pajamas, and went outside.
Pushing open the door to the next room, Zhao Ning was standing next to the railing of the crib, her little hands gripping the railing to support herself steadily.
When she saw him come in, the little girl grinned, revealing four small white teeth.

Fu Yibai walked over, scooped her out of the crib, and held her in his arms. The little girl immediately reached out to grab his hair, and giggled after she caught it.
Yang's mother was preparing breakfast in the kitchen, and the sounds of spatulas and the aroma of cooking oil wafted up from downstairs.

"Let her sleep a little longer."

It was almost nine o'clock when Yang Rong came downstairs.
"Mom, what's for breakfast?"
"Porridge, steamed buns, and your favorite egg pancakes."
Yang's mother brought breakfast to the table.
The four people were eating breakfast around the dining table.
Zhao Ning sat in her high chair as Fu Yibai fed her porridge spoonful by spoonful. The little girl's cheeks bulged out like a squirrel's.
"I have a filming this afternoon, but I can spend the morning with you."
Yang Rong took a sip of porridge and turned her head to look at Fu Yibai.
"When are you leaving?"
"I just arrived, and you're already kicking me out?"
Fu Yibai wiped the rice grains from Zhao Ning's mouth and made a joke.
"No, I was just worried about interfering with your work."
"I'll stay here for a few days and spend more time with you all."
"I'll leave after the premiere of 'Lucy'."

During the day, Yang Rong went to the film set, while he stayed at the villa with Zhao Ning.
The little girl had just learned to stand while holding onto things, and she was as energetic as a perpetual motion machine. She rolled around on the playmat, chewing her teddy bear's ears until they were wet.
Fu Yibai sat cross-legged on the edge of the cushion, one hand protecting her from bumping into the corner of the coffee table, the other hand scrolling through emails on his phone.
Zhang Xinyu sends him document summaries that she needs to review every day. He reviews them on his phone and replies, so it doesn't delay his work.
On the afternoon of the fourth day, Fu Yibai changed Zhao Ning into a pink dress, put a sun hat on her, and then used a suspender to secure her to his chest before going out.
He wore black-rimmed glasses, a baseball cap, and a plain gray T-shirt and jeans, looking like an ordinary young father with a child.
There were many tourists in the open areas of Hengdian World Studios, and Fu Yibai blended into the crowd without anyone recognizing him.
Zhao Ning nestled against his chest, her little hands clutching his T-shirt collar, her round eyes darting around with curiosity about the ancient buildings and colorful tourists.
He took her to the Qingming Riverside Scene scenic area and they sat on a bench under the shade of a tree for half an hour.
The little girl watched the crowds coming and going, occasionally pointing in a certain direction and babbling her opinion. Fu Yibai would look in the direction she was pointing and then carefully explain to her what it was.
When they returned to the villa, Yang Rong had already finished work and was sitting on the sofa drinking chilled plum juice.
Seeing Zhao Ning on Fu Yibai's chest, she put down her cup, walked over, and took the little girl from his arms.
Where did you go?
"I took her out for a walk and let her see the world."
Yang Rong kissed Zhao Ning on the cheek, and the little girl giggled.
On the morning of July 26, Fu Yibai left Hengdian by car.
Yang Rong carried Zhao Ning to the door. The little girl didn't quite understand what parting meant. But seeing her mother standing there, she quieted down and leaned on Yang Rong's shoulder to watch Fu Yibai get into the car.

Fu Yibai pushed open the door of the villa in the capital.
Li Dabai and Gulnazar sat on the sofa in the living room, with several fashion magazines spread out on the coffee table in front of them.

Liu Yan came downstairs, holding Jing Chen, who had just woken up, in her arms.
The little one nestled on his mother's shoulder, his face still bearing the red marks from his afternoon nap. He blinked at Fu Yibai, then buried his face in Liu Yan's neck.
"How's it going in Zhaoning?" Liu Yan asked.
"That's good, he can stand up on his own now."
Fu Yibai changed into slippers and walked over, reaching out to touch the back of Jing Chen's head.
The little guy twisted his body and ignored him.
"There's a 'Lucy' premiere tonight, wanna go check it out?"
Liu Yan paused for a moment, then looked down at her son in her arms.
Jing Chen was grabbing her collar and stuffing it into his mouth; his saliva had already soaked a small patch of her collar.
"What if I go to Jingchen?"
"Let Xinyu stay home and take care of things for a while."
Fu Yibai took Liu Yan's hand and squeezed it.
"Go ahead, just consider it getting some fresh air."
Liu Yan remained silent for a few seconds.
She looked down at her son, Jingchen, who was intently nibbling on her collar, oblivious to everything around him.
"Okay, then I'll leave it to Xinyu."
"It's not hard work, Sister Yan."
Zhang Xinyu shook her head and gently took Jing Chen's hand.
Fu Yibai returned to his room, changed into a formal suit, and then went downstairs.
