The two forces were as sharp as blades, continuously ravaging everything inside the cave. Bones could be seen everywhere. Mostly the remains of people who had come hunting for treasure in the past.
Guided by the voice's call and the blue trajectory, Ethan navigated the maze for a full four hours before finally seeing a speck of light.
The light grew larger and larger until it turned into a ten-foot-tall exit.
Ethan and his group emerged from the cave tunnel, floating in mid-air.
A massive subterranean cavern.
The surrounding stone walls were packed with countless cave entrances, looking like a giant honeycomb.
"Ugh... ahh!"
Just as Ethan was observing their surroundings, Lunara and the others suddenly grimaced, their faces twisting in extreme agony.
Ethan's expression changed drastically. They were clearly being affected by the power in this place.
"What the hell?" He was baffled as to why he didn't feel a thing.
"Scatter!" Ethan roared. Fiery divine power poured out endlessly, forcing the encroaching Yin Corpse energy and Extreme Yin Profound Wind back a full thirty feet.

He made a prompt decision, directly storing all five of them inside the Soul-Living Bottle.
"Why wasn't I affected at all?"
Ethan looked at his hands.
He directly withdrew his divine power defenses.

Suddenly, that calling voice rang out again.
This time, it sounded as if someone were speaking right into his ear. Ethan could even feel the sensation of breathing against his skin!
"Who is it?!" Ethan demanded loudly, scanning his surroundings.
A brief silence fell over the cavern.
Following that, clusters of black liquid seeped out from the withered tree, eventually floating right in front of Ethan.
The black liquid twisted and morphed, actually forming into three distinct black ghost masks!
"These are... Onyx Orchid masks? Three of them?!"
"How is this possible?" Ethan stared at the scene, his face filled with astonishment.
"Holographic Eye, open!"
With a thought, blue light shone in his eyes.
[The deepest part of the Demon Caverns, beneath the Eye of Extreme Frost. The location where the Ghost God Onyx Orchid fell.]
"The location where the Ghost God Onyx Orchid fell...?"
Ethan's expression suddenly turned grave.
No wonder a voice kept ringing in his ears.
It was the legendary Ghost God Onyx Orchid. However, this voice wasn't calling him.
It was calling the Onyx Orchid residing within him.
As this thought crossed his mind, Ethan realized that the Onyx Orchid within him was actually detaching from his body.
In just a few minutes, he transformed into a mass of black liquid, emerged from the top of Ethan's head, and floated before him, merging with the other three clusters of liquid.
Boom!
The next second, the massive cluster of black liquid violently expanded, forming a powerful energy barrier that blasted Ethan away.
Ethan steadied himself and looked ahead.
The energy barrier completely enveloped the withered log. The black liquid was slowly writhing atop it.
Although Onyx Orchid had left his body, he still maintained a connection with him. He could clearly feel Onyx Orchid's power growing at a terrifying speed.
All six masks are gathered... is the Ghost God Onyx Orchid about to awaken? Ethan pondered, his expression turning incredibly solemn.
I wonder if he'll still recognize me when he wakes up?

A familiar square-hall architectural style, familiar stone doors, familiar patterns. He easily opened the ruins' door and arrived at the altar in the very center.
He then activated the Star Grand Formation, closed his eyes, and began his secluded cultivation.
