Chapter 211 The Real Green
Chapter 211 The Real Green
Autumn is very short.
Above Nurmengard, the sky was gray and snow was falling. The temperature had dropped even in the UK, let alone here.
The air twisted, and a person wrapped in black fell to the door with the snow.
He pulled down his hood, revealing Professor Green.
He casually glanced at the thick snow outside, turned his head and exhaled a puff of white mist, pushed open the door, climbed the stairs, and walked into a slightly empty room.
Standing in the room was a man who looked exactly like him.
They all have the face of Cypens.
"came back?"
The man didn't even turn his head, staring at the snow outside, which was nothing new.
"Happy Halloween, sir." The man who came in took off his hat and bowed his head slightly.
"Hasn't the old man discovered the flaw yet?" Grindelwald faced Sypens's face. On the only table next to him was a wooden cup filled with Polyjuice Potion.
"No, he seems to be a little busy recently. After all, he still has to receive guests."
Sypens walked up behind him. Although he said this, he knew best in his heart that he had applied for a professorship at Hogwarts and had only officially attended classes for a week. When he came back at the weekend, his teacher asked him to buy Polyjuice Potion.
He never returned to Hogwarts after that.
Until a few days ago, the gentleman came back and said that there was not enough Polyjuice Potion, so he became Professor Green again.
I also learned that the gentleman was summoned by Dumbledore for a talk because of his teaching methods.
"That's really disappointing, but he's really old after all. Okay, you can go spend Halloween alone. I'm leaving."
Grindelwald took the wand that Sypens handed him and prepared to leave.
"gentlemen……"
"explain."
"Sir, could you please keep an eye on Snape for me?"
"Are you worried about your little granddaughter? Didn't you say he was more reliable than you?" Grindelwald glanced at him.
"I just didn't realize he had an old lover."
At this moment, there was a chill in Cepens's expression. Grindelwald immediately understood what Cepens meant and snorted.
"I asked you to go take a look at it, but I don't know who said he didn't want to take care of his granddaughter."
"I didn't expect that the child was in such a state just for him. Tarros was embarrassed in front of the gentleman." Sepence sighed softly.
"You, your father, and your son are all in bad shape. It's a miracle that Talros can survive until now."
Grindelwald briefly fell into reminiscence, remembering Wenda, who had been the first to walk towards him with determination, and Hermann, who had clearly not wanted to be left behind but had lost his guard in the critical moment due to excitement and was hit in the leg... and then had limped to catch up with him in second.
It's really embarrassing.
But soon the memories were brought back to reality by his moving legs. Wenda was gone, and Hermann had died long ago.
The arrogant Grindelwald has long been left in the past.
But he didn't become disabled.
"Well now, I should find someone to spend Halloween with."
?
Malfoy Manor.
"Even so, your behavior is too reckless. We all know that girl is extraordinary, but you should consider more than her. Xiaolong, don't make Dad and I worry..."
After listening to Draco's explanation, Narcissa picked up the blanket on the sofa and draped it over Draco while muttering to herself, with worry still on her face. She also turned out a cup of hot tea.
"I know my limits, mother, so do you know about Professor Snape?"
Draco did not stop thinking, and he felt that this matter must be related to Professor Snape. He deliberately blocked the news, and no one except them knew that Reina was not in the dormitory.
So it is very important what happened after Professor Snape discovered that Reina was not at the party and found her personally.
But I'm afraid no one can get an honest answer from these two people.
"That depends on what the matter is. You know that Snape and Dad have the best relationship, so if Dad doesn't want to talk about it, Mom may not understand."
"Is that so... So this is also the reason why Reina is looking for her father?"
"I don't think so... Oh, I mean, that's between them."
Narcissa changed the subject and realized something after she finished speaking. She looked at Draco and smiled with some relief.
"Maybe it's nothing. I'm just a little worried about her, Mom. Remember I asked you what you thought of her?"
"Remember, during Hogsmeade's Open Day, you wanted me to sign for her, but that's of course not possible. Speaking of which, is Reina always alone at school on every Open Day? Maybe you should ask Pansy and the others to spend more time with her..."
When Mother Narcissa thought of Reina, a trace of sadness appeared on her face, but a glimmer of light flashed in her eyes. It was not that she could not discover the child's specialness, but she was Malfoy's last line of defense, and she didn't need to discover it when she was not required to.
"She's appeared in Hogsmeade more than once. You don't have to worry at all. She always says she escaped through a side path, but I noticed her composure and her calmness when she was almost discovered by Professor Snape a long time ago. Her 'concern' for Snape is different from our 'concern', so... this is definitely related to Snape."
Draco took over without waiting for Narcissa to change the subject. He didn't want to waste time by saying too much, mainly because he was worried that he would be carried away by his mother's words while talking.
However, no matter how much Narcissa knew, it would not be more than Lucius, so she did not tell Draco in the end. In her eyes, even urgent matters were not serious enough for Draco to handle, let alone those unimportant matters.
The one who made the deal with Hermalena was only her husband.
Narcissa looked towards the study upstairs, and the blanket on her shoulders slid gently down and stopped at the crook of her arm.
In the study, there were only three or two candles burning on the table, and it was not very bright.
Lucius did not sit at the table as usual, but leaned on it, pinching his brows and sighing.
The one who took his place was none other than Reina, and her expression wasn't exactly relaxed either.
"You mean, even if I want to deny it, I have to accept the fact now?"
Lucius side-eyed him and said that he had been reminded by Reina long ago that the Dark Lord would come back, but even after confirming the news, he still couldn't calm down. Who knew he would be taken to that person by Barty Jr. or a loyal Death Eater while walking on the street.
"But who else can do it? You also said that little Barty is busy taking care of that person, and there haven't been any strange people in Hogwarts recently. Or do you want me to investigate personally by visiting you late at night?"
"No, that's not the point I'm talking about. If this is a hurdle Harry must overcome, then so be it. It has nothing to do with me now anyway."
Lucius smiled when he heard that. He let go of his red eyebrows, folded his hands and looked at Lena directly.
"You actually still believe in fate, but I'm glad you finally realized this. After all, it means my money won't be used on them."
"You make it sound like it cost you a lot. Without me, you'd lose even more than you already have, you greedy guy."
Lena glanced at him. Could Malfoy still be short of that little bit of gold Galleon?
