Isekai Adventure in the Dimensional Cube

Chapter 1734 - 1174: A Peaceful World

Chapter 1734 - 1174: A Peaceful World

This is a vast land.

The land is boundless, stretching beyond sight. Even if someone were to gaze upon this land from a height of tens of thousands of meters, they would only see the horizon where the sky meets the earth, without catching a glimpse of its end.

Forests...

Mountains...

Lakes...

Grasslands...

All these beautiful sceneries combine to form this vast land, making the whole land appear vibrant and full of life.

"Boom——"

At a certain moment, a violent atmospheric roar suddenly appeared.

A beam of light suddenly descended from the edge of the sky, falling at an astounding speed over this boundless land, creating a violent sonic boom.

The beam of light did not directly land on the ground, but suspended high in the air, eventually transforming into particles of light, whereupon waves of light particles formed into figures.

"Ah!"

As soon as the figures appeared in the air, they were immediately caught by the gravity of this world, causing a young girl to cry out as she began to fall.

"[Mass Flight]."

Reiger reacted swiftly. Upon hearing the cries, he immediately cast a mass flying magic, causing a bluish magic power to envelop everyone’s body, allowing them to escape gravity and float mid-air, thus avoiding a tragic fate of falling to their deaths.

"That scared me to death..."

The little princess’s face turned pale, pressing her small hands on her disproportionately large chest, looking completely frightened.

Yuloli and Lilith, however, remained calm and composed throughout.

"...How long do you plan to hold on?"

A mark of annoyance appeared on Ellie’s forehead as she punched Leo, who unbeknownst to her was clinging to her like an octopus, on the nose.

"Ow!"

Poor Leo, an aspiring Sword Saint, had his image of toughness overshadowed by this experience and let out an embarrassing yelp as Ellie punched him on the nose.

For a while, the entire air above became quite lively.

"Is this the Hidden Land?"

Only Reiger had his gaze fixed on the scenery from the start, unable to hide a sense of awe in his eyes.

The vast land that came into his view, though beautiful, was not enough to astonish him.

After all, he was someone who had been to many different worlds and had seen all kinds of beautiful scenery.

He had even witnessed beautiful natural sights in the underground city, sights that could never be found on the surface, most notably the 18th layer’s Crystal Maze.

But even that place did not give him the same sense of... tranquility as this land did.

That’s right.

Tranquility.

On this land, there were no ubiquitous monsters, nor were there sporadic outbreaks of war. There was only soul-stirring peace and harmony.

Deer drank water by the lakeside, accompanied by elephants and wolf packs, yet the wolves did not rush to gorge themselves on the deer, instead coexisting in perfect harmony.

The waters teemed with fish of various kinds, big and small, and shrimp as well, yet big fish did not eat smaller fish, and smaller fish did not eat shrimp; they coexisted in extreme harmony.

Frogs leapt leisurely beside pythons, the pythons paying no heed.

Eagles swooped down rapidly from the air, but the mice on the ground showed no fear, watching quietly as the eagles flew over their heads.

Even black bears lay together with little rabbits, both side by side, dozing peacefully as if they were family.

These scenes undeniably defied the laws of nature and overturned the law of the jungle, trampling all over the so-called food chain and spitting disdainfully in its face.

How could Reiger not be amazed upon seeing such sights?

"How about it?" Ellie pushed Leo aside after kicking him away, and seeing Reiger’s amazed expression, she smiled proudly and said, "Our Hidden Land is completely different from your Akasha continent, isn’t it?"

"It’s more than just different!" Reiger nodded, openly expressing his curiosity, "How is such a thing achieved?"

From Ellie’s and Leo’s descriptions, Reiger had more than once heard of how peaceful the Hidden Land was.

Here, there were no conflicts like on the continent of Akasha, no disputes over interests; everyone adhered to the rules set by their ancestors, always considering themselves as one, as belonging to the same tribe, the same kingdom, under the leadership of the same great existence, always supporting and fighting alongside each other.

The ancient magical civilization was powerful and prosperous, but they did not forget how difficult survival was for humans on that continent.

If not for "God" descending from the heavens, and the noble Reinnaier being chosen by "God" to become the king, humanity, under the constant threat of monsters, would have long been hunted to extinction.

Because of Reinnaier’s presence, humanity united for the first time, forming a whole, even establishing a nation to collectively resist the persecution by monsters, gaining the chance to survive and breathe on the Akasha continent.

Back then, there were no distinctions of power, no enemies or allies among humans.

To fend off the monsters, to continue surviving, they had to unite, to aggregate everyone’s strength.
