Nalan Jing heard a soft laugh, which sounded seductive. Liu Qishan remained motionless and silent.

She sighed and massaged his legs to help him improve his circulation, perhaps without even realizing the doting look in her eyes.
Liu Qishan's ears turned even redder, with a hint of redness spreading to his neck. He rarely felt so embarrassed, but in Nalan Jingwen's eyes, it was extremely cute.

His heart began to race, and he became dazed. Unconsciously, he gripped Nalan Jingwen's clothes tightly and leaned closer as if reminiscing.
Nalan Jingwen turned her head to the side, and her cheek pressed against his, which startled her. She then hugged the waist of the person in her arms even tighter, making their already close bodies even more intimate, leaving no gap between them.
She whispered in his ear, "I heard it, Qishan, your heart is beating very fast."
"hiss."
A sharp pain shot through her waist, causing her to gasp.
Liu Qishan actually pinched her!
Is this still the gentle and elegant Liu Qishan she once was?!
The culprit smiled gently at her, as if he hadn't been the one who had just pinched her, if it weren't for the lingering pain in her waist.
She chuckled softly and kissed his earlobe. Now it was his turn to freeze, a blush spreading visibly from his earlobe to his entire neck until it was completely red.
Seeing that he had stopped moving, Nalan Jingwen began to listen attentively to the sounds outside.

"Dead?! How did he die? When did he die?"

Seeing that no one was paying attention to them, Nalan Jing pulled Liu Qishan and walked out of the town. After stepping out of the town, they could vaguely hear the sounds of soldiers searching.
I managed to get out at the last minute.
After walking for about 15 minutes, she realized something was wrong.
Liu Qishan had remained silent, even though he had been away from the town for quite some time.
She stopped and faced Liuqishan.

Liu Qishan stared at her, "Did you kill Wang Hua?"
Nalan Jing frowned upon hearing his calm yet inexplicably emotional question.
"Yes."
She admitted it without hesitation, without even thinking of hiding it. She never intended to hide anything from him; since he chose to be with her, he had to accept everything about her.
"You think she shouldn't have been killed?"
Nalan Jingwen's expression darkened.
Liu Qishan shook his head in denial.
"No."
"Then you can't accept that I'm a ruthless person?"
She stared intently at him, not missing a single expression on his face, as long as he hesitated, as long as he said yes.
She would leave without hesitation and never appear in front of him again!
But Liu Qishan still shook his head.
"No."
Nalan Jingwen released his hand. "Since neither of those are the case, then what do you want to ask?"
“We have no blood feud with Wang Hua, you shouldn’t have killed her with your own hands.”
His voice was indifferent as he pulled Nalan Jingwen's hand again and gently wiped it, as if there was something dirty on her hands.
Nalan Jingwen, however, understood, a cold glint flashing in his dark eyes, and withdrew his hand.
On the surface, Liu Qishan said he didn't want his hands to get dirty, but deep down he was testing her limits.
But why test her bottom line?
She took a step closer to Liu Qishan, her aura becoming heavy and oppressive, but Liu Qishan did not retreat a step, meeting her head-on.
Nalan Jingwen squinted, his aura surging forth.
"What exactly do you want to ask?"
"Ask what the consequences are of provoking me? Ask what price I will make those who harm my people pay? Or ask what the fate of betraying me will be?!"
The last sentence fell like a boulder, causing Liu Qishan to stagger backward a few steps.
Nalan Jingwen pressed on relentlessly.
"Liu Qishan, you want to betray me?!"
She knew her identity here, but the people chasing her had not been identified, so she still had to be careful and not give herself away.
Liu Qishan finally showed a panicked expression, reaching out to grab her hem, but she shook him off, causing him to lose his footing and fall to the ground.
She lowered her eyes and looked coldly at the person on the ground.
